Lullabies From Jerusalem

Experience the inner peace, harmony and tranquility of lullabies in a rainbow of sounds from the cultural mosaic that is Jerusalem.

Many young children are afraid to go to sleep, whether they are Jewish, or Muslim, or Christian. Fear of the night is universal. Mothers (and fathers) the world over want they babies and young children to sleep peacefully and soundly, with no fear of war and violence.Bringing together these songs of motherly love from many different cultures reminds us that ultimately we really don't differ. Singing lullabies is a shared human response to calm tired and  cranky children. Thus was born the concept of lullabies from Jerusalem.

The Ethiopian child's fears at night differ in no way from those of Jewish or Christian children. The Armenian mother's desire to see her child fall asleep enchanted and engulfed by song and love is the same as that of an Arab or Druze mother. Bringing together these songs of motherly love from many different cultures reminds us that ultimately we really don't differ.

These lullabies form a language of their own by combining the purest of all loves and the most universal of all songs.
